Anthony Stollings is a self–taught and second generation artist. Though born in Cincinnati he now resides in Florence Kentucky. He stated his father had some influenced on his work and his desire to paint. Mr. Stollings has been asked to design inspirational work for some of his clients and most of his works reflect the African American spirit. However Mr. Stollings is a diverse artist and so some of his pieces reflect historical subjects and more contemporary ideals. Though oil is his primary medium he has found acrylics ( because of the fast drying time ) have given him a second medium that he enjoys. His work has been on the cover of brochures and used in mural designs. His work has been in exhibition's at the Taft Museum of Art, The Aronoff Center and The Gov. art exhibit in Kentucky. Mr. Stollings work can be found in many collections.
