He is skilled in using a variety of media including oil, acrylic, and charcoal. A military veteran of the U.S. Army, Jeremy served his country for 10 years stationed in places like Germany, Kosovo and Guantanamo Bay. Using his personal experience as an African-American artist, and military veteran, his work explores the human condition and societal issues.

Examples of his most high-profile artwork are featured throughout the Columbus, Georgia community including murals painted at Fourth Street Baptist Church, South Columbus Methodist Church, Key Elementary School, and Wesley Heights Elementary School. Jeremy’s artwork honoring Vietnam veterans was also featured in the Columbus-Ledger Enquirer and on WRBL.com in November 2016.

Jeremy has also worked with Black Art in America (BAIA), an organization devoted to preserving and promoting the contributions of African-American artists led by artist, Najee Dorsey. His work with Black Art in America includes serving as a volunteer artist for community events held at the Liberty Theatre Cultural Center, and traveling across the country to promote black art at museum exhibitions and private collector events.

In the community, Jeremy has served as a volunteer for two outreach programs through the Bo Bartlett Center. They include "Home is Where the Art is," an outreach program that shares weekly art experiences with the homeless community; and "Art Makes You Smart," a Partners in Education initiative where art education presentations are conducted at public schools reaching hundreds of students.

He is a graduate of Columbus State University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Art Education. His true passion is creating new work and sharing the gift of art with young people. Jeremy is currently the art teacher at Kendrick High School. On his arrival in 2018 Jeremy created Kendrick’s first Art Club. The art club has completed over 8 large scale mural to help build school spirit and camaraderie.
